The One Pass Ostomy Draining Device (OPODD™) is an innovative, compact tool that makes ostomy pouch management cleaner, faster, and more convenient. Its dual-roller, hinged design with locking mechanism allows the user to secure the rollers across the full width of the pouch, removing nearly all contents in a single pass.

At just eight inches long - smaller than two ballpoint pens - OPODD™ is lightweight, discreet, and easy to carry in a pocket, bag, or purse.

Instructions For Use

  • Unclip and open OPODD™ to a V-shape.

  • Place a container near pouch opening.

  • Position OPODD™ across pouch just below the stoma — clip side on front, non-clip roller on rear.

  • Re-clip to secure across pouch.

  • Open pouch clip or fastener.

  • Fold sealing end back to expose opening.

  • Roll OPODD™ over pouch length, stopping before the end to avoid contact with waste.

  • Unclip and remove OPODD™.

  • Wipe pouch opening and refold.

  • Close pouch with clip or fastener.

Cleaning /instructions

Cleaning Instructions

  • Clean surfaces with water and mild agent before disinfection. A soft brush may be used.

  • Wipe all surfaces with a disinfectant (follow manufacturer instructions). Pay special attention to rollers and any areas contacting skin or pouch opening.

  • Air dry completely before reuse.

  • Device must be visibly clean before next use.

  • Frequency of cleaning/disinfecting should be based on individual use.

Recommended: Neutral pH enzymatic cleaners or approved disinfectants.
Avoid: Chlorine-based agents, abrasives, scouring pads, or wire brushes.
